THREE QUICK STEPS
A straightforward walkthrough for saving a public video post in your browser.
Open the post and use Share → Copy link.
Paste its URL into the downloader and request results.
Select a listed quality and find the file in Downloads or Files.
Open X and locate the post that contains the clip. Tap or click the post so you are viewing the individual item rather than a timeline or profile page. Use the Share control to copy its link. The copied address should identify the status; if you copied a profile URL by accident, return to the post and repeat the copy action.
Return to the downloader and paste the post URL into the field. The page checks that the address belongs to X or Twitter and identifies a status number. Press Get video to ask the server to inspect the public post. Keep the page open while the request is processing. If you see an error, read it before retrying so you can tell a bad link from a temporary service issue.
The result shows the post’s available video options. Pick a resolution that fits your intended use, display size, network, and device storage. A higher setting may make a larger file, while lower resolutions can be easier to transfer on a phone. A format only appears when the media source offers a compatible stream for that post.
On desktop, your browser usually puts the file in its Downloads folder. On Android, look in the browser’s downloads list or the Files app. On iPhone and iPad, Safari may download the file, show a preview, or let you choose Save to Files. The exact prompt varies by browser and operating system version.
Check that the post remains public and that you can play its video without signing in. Confirm the URL includes the post status ID. If the site reports a rate limit, wait before sending another request. If the post has no standard video, is a protected broadcast, or has been deleted, there may be no downloadable rendition to return.
