Copy the precise post address
Open the individual post in your browser and copy its address after the page has loaded. If you begin in the X app, use Share then Copy link before sending the link to your PC. The URL should include a status identifier. A user profile, notifications page, or search result is not enough to specify which video should be inspected.
Choose quality on a larger screen
A PC display can reveal differences between resolutions, but the largest listed file is not automatically the right choice. Consider the monitor size, intended editing or viewing, connection speed, and available disk space. When only smaller renditions appear, the source or its platform transcodes may be limited. The downloader presents choices; it cannot upscale the recording faithfully.
Find browser downloads on Windows
Edge and Chrome commonly save to the user’s Downloads folder unless settings specify another destination. Open the browser’s downloads panel to see progress and use Show in folder when the transfer finishes. If Windows asks which app should open the MP4, choose a trusted player. Avoid changing the extension to force a file association.
Troubleshoot desktop transfers

Browser download protection may ask whether to keep a file; read the prompt and confirm only when you expected that file. Low disk space, interrupted Wi-Fi, or a temporary upstream error can stop a transfer even after extraction succeeds.
