Copy a status link
Copy the URL from the specific public status page.
SIMPLE. PRIVATE. FREE.
Use the browser you already have to request a supported rendition from a publicly accessible post.
Paste a link to a public post containing video.
Quick link: open xmediagrabber.com/username/status/ID to load a post directly.
This page processes a single X or Twitter status link when you submit it. It does not search timelines or unlock private accounts. The server reads media that is publicly reachable and displays the available options for that post. Because the media is fetched on request, access can change if a post is deleted, protected, restricted, or temporarily rate-limited.
Open the individual status, use its Share menu, and copy the link. Paste the full address into the page’s input; accepted links may use x.com or twitter.com, but must identify a status. Remove unrelated text if you copied a caption too. The browser checks the link structure before the server attempts to inspect the media.
The process works in current browsers without a browser extension. After the result appears, choose an option and let the browser handle the file transfer. Desktop users can open the download shelf or Downloads folder. On phones, check browser downloads or Files; if Safari previews a video instead, use its Share menu to save the item.
An invalid-link message usually means the address is a profile or is missing a status ID. A private-post notice means the service cannot access the media and should not be bypassed. If many public links fail, wait for a rate limit to clear or check server health. Repeatedly submitting the same failing post is unlikely to fix an upstream outage.
